Andy Nelson, Founder (he/him)
Before founding The Glow Land, Andy Nelson spent 15 years leading PR and marketing teams across diverse sectors, from the music industry to public education and advertising. His journey has seen him promote everything from Snoop Dogg to science fairs, always focusing on the people behind the stories. Whether working with celebrity divas or anxious students, Andy excels at showcasing their unique light to the world.
Throughout his career, Andy has successfully promoted thousands of events, crafted around 5,000 press releases, created new brands, and led numerous strategic campaigns. He’s passionate about building strong relationships with people from all walks of life, from C-suite executives to civic leaders and grassroots tastemakers.
Andy’s passion for communication and connection is inspired by his childhood idols—Mister Rogers, LeVar Burton, and Pee Wee Herman. He resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with his wife, Jess, their dog, Moonie, and their cat, Lenny. Outside work, Andy meditates daily and enjoys discovering new music, watching movies, dancing, following the NBA, exploring nature, and indulging in his love for Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Anja Sieger, Communications Coordinator (she/her)
Anja is delighted to attend to communication, organizational, and outreach aspects for The Glow Land. She is also a typewriter poet with over 10 years of experience in getting clients to cry tears of joy. Everyone has a poetic story hidden inside them—and Anja knows what questions to ask to find it. Once, the Milverine called Anja “Miss Typewriter” and she will keep that screenshot forever. Outside work, Miss Typewriter likes aimless walks, scissors, statement hats, throwing frisbees into the night, interpretive dance, dictionaries, tea, and playing an absurd amount of Wingspan with her husband, Blaine.
